Aadhaar for the applicants of NEET (UG), 2018

CBSE has determined to use Aadhaar for the candidates of NEET (UG), 2018.

1. The usage of Aadhaar for the candidates of NEET (UG), 2018 will affect the accuracy of the
applicants’ important points. This may additionally help in ascertaining identities of the candidates at the examination centers in a convenient and trouble-free manner. Aadhaar obviates the
need for producing a couple of files to show one’s identification.

2. The provisions of the Aadhaar Act and rules under the Act have come into influence
from 14th September 2016 and notifications to this effect were published in the
reputable Gazette. Section fifty-seven of the Aadhaar Act 2016 permits the use of Aadhaar
quantity for beginning the identity of a person for any intent pursuant to any law
or any contract to this effect.
Three. Hence, CBSE has determined to use Aadhaar for the candidates of NEET (UG), 2018,
and hereby notifies the following:

3.candidates who are in possession of Aadhaar shall enter Aadhaar number,
identify, date of delivery & gender in online software for NEET (UG), 2018 for the
intent of his/her identity and authentication thereof.

4.applicants not but enrolled for Aadhaar, are hereby required to make
software for Aadhaar enrolment in case he/she is entitled to obtain Aadhaar
as per section three of Aadhaar Act. Such applicant may just seek advice from any Aadhaar
enrolment core (list available at www.Uidai.Gov.In) to get enrolled for
Aadhaar.

5. The above provisions might be applicable in all States besides J&k, Assam & Meghalaya.

6. The applicants who've passed or showing in class XII examination from the States
of J&ok, Assam & Meghalaya have got to enter the passport number, ration card number,
financial institution account quantity or any other legitimate Govt. Identification number supplied they will have to prefer town of examination in these States handiest.
